Together with the 2026 tariffs, Swissgrid has defined a new mechanism for calculating the balancing energy price. Its aim is to help reduce the need for control energy and strengthen the balance of the Swiss control area.

The Federal Electricity Commission (ElCom) has approved the awarding of contracts.

A dividend totalling CHF 30 million will be distributed for the 2023 financial year. PricewaterhouseCoopers AG was elected as the new external auditors.
